cap jumps to lower case

In Corel X4 when typing directly onto work space with text tool i.e. CD50 the capital D changes to lower case as soon as the text is deselected by selecting another tool. If I type CD 50, the D change to d as soon as I hit the space bar after the D.
This only happens when using older files (created in X2) and does not appear to happen with other caps only the D.
The files are not excessively large as they are only B/W line drawings with dimensions and a few bits of text.

Hi John, if you go to the Tools Menu/Options and select "Text" and expand to "Quick Correct", you should be able to correct this problem there.
