Default Alter the default NODE type that is created

    Hi all,

I'm hand tracing some images and something is really annoying me!

I'm rough tracing using the line tool, then converting all lines to curves and then editing them to make them fit the underlying shape. When I add nodes by double clicking the curve it always adds them as smooth or may even be symmetrical, I have to right click and press P to convert them to cusps.

Is there a way to force corel to use cusps as its defualt node.?

I seem to be constantly veering from illustrator to corel, one week Im wishing that illustrator could export selected, then Im wishing that corel could select anything that a mouse drawn bounding box touches, then Im wishing that illustrator wouldnt and so on! I wish they would mutate into one product with all the best bits!

    Thanks all
    Rolf

Default Re: Alter the default NODE type that is created

    Rolf,
I've been hand tracing for 20 years with CD and I've always had to modify added nodes after the initial, select, convert to cusp then add a node then make node a cusp... It's a pain but I've found no other way. I hope someone know how.
