We have a WINNER! Nicely done, Steve. And yes, the secret to solving the reveals so quickly is to 'S T R E T C H' them out horizontally. It's amazing, but with only a few degrees rotation, and a big enough stretch, the extrusions become legible.

Oh, and by the way, the font I used was called ELRIC.

Well in reality you are only undoing what has been done (stretching what has become squashed). The 3D effect is just a 2D illusion


I've just got up after a late night and only been able to come up with a slight shift on your idea.

No it may not be as i first appears, but I'm betting the word is 'SCEPTER'. It actually took me longer to match the font than to come up with the word. That's if I'm actually correct.
