Question about format

Hello! I from Russia and my english language no very good, like this my confusion from this...
I have question about Xara Xtreme, about format in which it is possible keep result picture framed in Xara Xtreme
I beginner painter, want work NO in company, independently, freelance... My fundamental direction vectorial graphic, picture, and more picture must have format eps for version 8 Adobe Illustrator.
No conditions what make picture only in Adobe Illustrator but on going out from programme must be this format, and i in stupor in search programme for this task.
I no have possibility make buy Adobe Illustrator and think what other vectorial editor maybe be able give necessary format?
I no specialist in programme no read very much good about Xara Xtreme and price Xara Xtreme for my suitable...
Remain just understand format and a very hope on help people understand this programme!
Maybe Xara Xtreme have must format or very resembling for this?
Or maybe for this it is desirable have Plug-in for Xara Xtreme?

Hello Daria, welcome to the forum. You can only save your work in Xara as a .xar file. To make a file that can be opened in Illustrator, go to: "File>Export..." (see attached graphic) and you choose from the file type how you want to export.
There are plenty of choices there, including .pdf which may also be suitable for what you need. When importing the file into Illustrator, some of the effects such as complex gradient fills may not import.
