    I want to thank everyone for the awesome assistance. This is the best help I've ever received on any forum. I've been busy learning and honing these techniques thanks to you all.

    I have one more technique that I'd really love to find out how to do. I know, I know, it's probably so easy for you guys. Any help is so much appreciated.

    I'm trying to figure out how to do these transparant layers of color waves like in this graphic:

    Anyone know how this is done?

    Hi fuss,
    As mentioned in post 2 regarding your first hotlinked image, please ensure that permission is granted by the owner of the image and also check if the host does not regard hotlinks as bandwidth stealing (most do).

    As for the effect, yes - varying transparencies on overlaid shapes will produce this kind of effect.
