Akvis Sketch 8 is available. They have included a preview window so that it isn't necessary to do a run to see the results.

I use Sketch as a plugin in Xara. It is installed as a Photoshop plugin, and I set a path from XXP.

How do you like Sketch? I've used some but none of them really come out looking like a sketch. Some just look like a B&W conversion. The best sketch I've seen so far was from Poser and that was a 3D render.

I like Sketch much better with the preview. It give a better idea of the effect of changing parameters. I don't usually use the result as is, but as a starting image for Xara. Typically, the colors are somewhat flat, and a saturation transparency helps. I use the results as masks, too. I have been trying to texturize the results with line tile, but haven't gotten there.
