    Good for you, I think it's called "recycling". If you have no further use for it, what else are you supposed to do - burn it?
    Your friend may well become a lifelong customer of Corel as a result, so it could be in their best interests.

    The EULA is designed to protect the rights of the software publisher. If any provision violates the laws of your state, that provision is invalid there. I'd suggest a Google search to determine if transfer of software licenses is permitted in your state. If so, then contact Corel for the procedure for getting that done.
