Man that looks so sweet. I've been putting off trying that Grunge stuff. It looks easy, but hard for it to appear as random as other people's work does. Is that normal or what?
Yes, yes, and what if the core is made of CHEESE?

Very creative CMONE!! I would never have thought of that.

@alpinedigital - It's quite normal to have troubles with certain styles.

There are things that I can't get my head around no matter how hard I try.

Just jump in and give a go! Try copying some tutorials or an image you really like. You'll find while you're doing this that you'll find your own style and techniques. "I do atleast".

    Cheers.

I have a couple questions about this.
    1. Try as I might I cannot seem to get the linear effect you do.
    2. What are LE-concentric waves? Are they different than the concentric waves?
    Live effects tool?
I have been able to duplicate most everything except the linear quality of the fractal clouds. How in the world are you doing that? I noticed that on a frame you made on a different post and wondered how you got the lines on that when I all I can get are cloud blotch shapes.

Hi Larry, you have to press the "Shift" key when adjusting fractal fills and transparencies in order to achieve this effect. Note the position of the fill handles in the attached. A .xar file attached too. Text converted to shapes so you can see it if you don't have the font installed. (Bermuda Solid.ttf)

I saw the March challenge and my shoulders slumped - I'm no good at guessing stuff I can't see. So I looked back and saw this one and thought I'd add my contribution.

Bob, you are wonderful! I didn't know about holding down the shift key to skew the fractal clouds/plasma. I felt constrained with their use because of it. Thank you, thank you.
