    Question Plug-in Help

Hi guys I need to know how to get the plug-ins that come with Xara Xtreme 4 off the cd, and into the program.

The free and demo plugins are installed automatically.
Shouldn't be any need for any additional action on your part.
You can set 'additional' plugin paths if you have other Photoshop filters/effects on your system via the Options (Ctrl+Shift+O) 'Effects & Plugins' tab.

the installed plugins are found with the live effects tool [ctrl+F5] - select an object to apply the effect to and then press new effect button on info bar and you should see them

Here is a screen shot so you can see that my plug-ins are not installed, or accessed correctly. I can not find a folder with the plug-ins in it. What are the file extension for the plug-ins?

Mike, select your object with the live effect tool. At the top of your screen click on "New" and you should get a list of pre-installed plug-ins.

What you found under the options tab is for adding more plug-ins you might have bought or have from other programs.

that folder is for telling xara where user installed plugins are - it should know where the xara installed ones are

are you missing all of them or just the alien ones - I recall the folder for those has been moved - if so this is what you need
