URGENT: exporting logo without having the white backround

Does your logo by any chance have a white rectangle behind it?

If yes, do not select the white rectangle when you are exporting the logo, just select the logo objects. If need be, ungroup the objects and select everything but the white rectangle.

If you want to attach the XAR file we'll be happy to take a look.

This is really not that hard.

Also on the top of the window it says, error in picture.

Speedy is also saying something, repeatedly, about a 'picture'. Maybe it's not a vector graphic at all but a bitmap (picture) of a graphic that has a white background??? It'll be a little bit harder to export the graphic without the 'white' background if it truly is a 'picture'.

Yes this crossed my mind also.
As you and Gary say, without the .xar we cannot help much more.

I also have the same problem, but when I export to PDF. When I export to PDF, I select just the object I want to export, I check the box for "Selection", not "Page" or "All" in the export options, but I still get the page background. Any other suggestions? Exporting to transparent GIF works OK with no background page.

PDF has a page. You can set the size and background colour of the page, but you can't get rid of it. Remember a PDF file is intended to represent a document, not an individual graphic.
