Photo album problem with Firefox 3

Hello!

I've created some photo albums with Webstyle 4. When I click on a thumbnail, the picture pops up in a new window.
IE, Opera and Firefox 2 show up the pic, but the new Firefox 3 doesn't. The window pops up, but only a broken pic icon appears.
Is this a javascript problem from Xara?
What can I do? Please help!

Nobody out there who created a photo album with Webstyle 4?
If not, could somebody please create one (it's just a few clicks) and test it with the new Firefox 3? Please?

I have a feeling that this is all part of a trend towards obsolescence.

There have been increasing discussions regarding problems encountered with newer versions of web browsers not working with Xara WS output any more.
WS hasn't been updated in some years and neither have there been any patches that I'm aware of. Xara haven't made any comments for quite some time about their plans for this older application.
It would seen likely that Xara Xtreme5 html output is to be their modern focus.
Still - it would be well to have an official statement from Xara/Magix on this, just to clear things up.

Shouldn't there something be like a downgrade compatibility? Or has Xara so special algorithms that newer browers don't cope with?

But now I am more confused. I always wondered, why Xara uses java script for photo albums. HTM works fine as well. Maybe it's just a special term in their coding that Firefox 3 doesn't like.
Xara - easy to use, but hard to handle...

My understanding is this, as web technology advances and languages evolve, often older syntax is removed (or changed) due to redundancy or security issues. This can of course lead to older scripts not being parsed in the same way.
For example, more often than not, when a server has is PHP version updated, some older php scripts fail.
This is not unusual. It requires that the authors also update their PHP scripts (unless they are working on an entirely new script).
