    Yummy,

Check out this thread started by Eugene. In a very gracious gesture he has provided a link in his first post where you can download the complete collection of his works in Xara Xtreme format so that you can pick them apart and see how he created them.

All of my Xara works by Spearance

And welcome to Xara and TG. Have fun and enjoy!

    IHTH,

Eugene's images are not traced photographs.

They are original drawings created from his imagination and amazing skill.

If you are capable of drawing images similar to those using pencil and paper. Then you can learn to create drawings similar using the tools within Xara Xtreme.

    Step 1: Become Eugene Spearance
    Step 2: Practice
    Step 3: See step 1

Basically, like all art - you need to develop you own style and practices.
No-one is goiing to be able to give you a tutorial on how to draw like Eugene Spearance.
There are plenty of tutorials on how to use XtremePro and how to acheive certain effects or styles and so on but you will need to practice these lessons and adapt them to your own personal style.

Is there a way I can achieve this effect from a traced image?

    None that I know about.
