Question Upgrading to Xtreme Pro 4?

    Hi,

I have previously purchased Macromedia Freehand MXa. I would like to purchase Xtreme Pro 4 and would like to know if the 'Adobe Freehand' discount would apply to Freehand MXa. I would prefer to upgrade that way than from Xara X1.

    Hello John
Not sure I understand your question. Adobe discounts to not apply here. Adobe does not make Xara products.

I realize that Adobe does not make Xara. On the upgrade page (http://www.xara.com/us/products/xtreme/upgrade/) it gives the option to upgrade from 'Adobe Freehand'. I have since done a little more thorough searching and found that the upgrade price does not apply to MXa.

Ok, sorry I did not understand your question. I did not know that Xara was offering such a discount on the upgrades.

How can it not? The Xara KB says that you can upgrade to Xtreme Pro from Freehand v9, 10 or 11. Wasn't Freehand MXa version 11.0.2? Adobe never made a Freehand release - the last release was under Macromedia.
