Gary has this thing about drawing worms in xara hence the reference..

It looks to me like there are two figures of eight one on top of the other - but who knows whether I see it right or not....

he he i think the issue is to look deep and deeper

when you look on upper balls (these which can be used to focus on SG)
you can overlay the nearest ones but if you cross your eyes stronger you can overlay next balls so
in the first approach you can see ball 8 as designed by gary
in the second approach you can see 4 eyed worm (as we can see two 8s touching eachother)

i'll try to see even more deeper and i'll tel you what i see

    edit:
well it's really hard to see the third picture
as we try to see SG we need to set focus on "deep space" so in fact we set our eyes to look more ahead (i don't know if it's understandable) - we see ball 8
now looking on second picture (4 eyed worm) we need to set eyes to see even more ahead so they look almost parallelly
and reaching even more we need to spread our eyes... there is no mechanism in out brain to command eyes to look left and right in the same time

    reasumming:
i can focus on the third picture but only on upper balls
my eyes are set so wide so i loose focus when i move eyes on the main part of the screen

is anybody who can see third picture?

    edit2:
on gary's SG page there is SG of 'y' letter
i can focus and see even 4th and 5th picture (as upper 'y' letters are close to eachother)

I believe that's the best one I've seen Gary. It has real depth and edge definition. Thanks for sharing.

Pixel - I'm not sure what the third image is that you are seeing? I only designed the 8-ball which is on a kind of stage. But that's about it.

Here's the depth image. That's all that is back there that I am aware of.

I have also provided the repeating pattern. I created the colored 8 Ball and then created a blend with the Alt Rainbow option to create a rainbow of objects. About 200. When one of the 8 balls goes off one edge of the square tile, it comes in at the opposite edge. This is mind numbingly tedious, but what else do I have to do?

Wow this is the first time I see what is behind the colourfull stereograms,
but only because you posted it visible, I never see those things.
