Importing a Picture to the Stage

Dear All!

I am a new comer to the Macromedia Flash, I am using Macromedia Flash8.
I imported a picture(JPEG, and Bitmap) to the stage, but when I import it , I don't see any thing but only the lines on the edges of the Picture with green color.

Can any body tell me how to resolve this prob?????????????

Sounds as though you have clicked on the outlines option in the timeline layer.

No it is not clicked for showing the outline.
