This started as a gold spider and I used transparancies in XXP. It just appeared black and I liked the effect.
I made a linear combination with the spider and made two images. One is for end to end, and the other was for the ends section with a repeatable mid section. Easy to do in XXP to define the distances.
I used the image as a stroke. A stroke has a diffiernt capability than a brush. In this case the image follows the path and has a head and tail. One of Dmitry's spirals.
