    Default Panorama tile tool

I have just tried making a seamless tile using the panorama tool.
So far it seems to work to a point.
I was wondering if anyone else would have a try.

Can you elaborate on how one might use a stitching tool to create a seamless tile Anas?
    An example would be good

Sorry I've been a little pushed for time.
1• Earlier I took a fill image (leaves).
2• I copied it to give me 3.
3• I used the panorama tool to stitch them together.
4• I fliped the new image 90 degrees and created an identical bitmap from it.
    5• I repeated steps 1 to 4.
6• I then cut a rectangle tile from the centre of this double panorama.

    Are you repeating the fill?

No I'm not repeating the fill Gary.

The first one I tried worked O.K. but now I realise that it was originally a seamless tile anyway.

Now I am having problems. I may have to sleep on it.

    I've done it.
Although it is not a perfect solution as I had to skew the final image to take a tile out of it due to the way the panorama tool works. I still need help in perfecting it.

The 1st is the original picture.
The next is after the panorama stitching.
    Then skewed square.
    Then tiled.
Then skewed back to natural form.

I spent ages due to the fact that I didn't realise that I needed to skew the tile (major drawback).

Try this Anas. No skewing neccessary:

Ooops, just spotted typo.. Oh well. You get the idea

I realise it may not be a fully tileable *fill*, but could work for a clipped fill when you only have a small texture or photo (of mint leaves) that you don't want to stretch in order to fill a shape?

    Hi Steve,
What was that 'Make image square..' thing about?
How come your colours haven't altered as much as mine? Is it because I'm only using XX4 rather than XXpro4?

This one came out much better:
    1• I stitched 3 identical copies.
2• Then I flipped it to 90 degrees (created it's bitmap).
    3• Stitched two identical copies.
    4• Drew a rectangle (box).
5• Rotated this second panorama until I had two twins of 'markers' in line horizontally and vertically with the box (adjusting the box size as I went along).
6• Placed this box behind the image and created a clipview with it.
7• [convert to editable shapes] and [ungroup].
    8• [create a bitmap copy].

Upload is not working so I'll post the image later.

It seems to be working OK.
The cracked earth needed only a little skewing. I guess some will need more than others so it will have to be trial and error.

As you can see I have lines which I've tried and tried to eliminate without success, help!
