Hi Steve,
What was that 'Make image square..' thing about?

Well your image is rectangular, I thought starting with a square image made more sense.
Rather than intersect with a square shape or clip/crop, I generally just hold the minus key on the numpad and drag the handles. This resizes the rectangle without squashing the image.

How come your colours haven't altered as much as mine?

I have my monitor colour turned up higher

As you can see I have lines which I've tried and tried to eliminate without success, help!

Are you using whole pixel sizes? Also remember that the new HQ view mode adds more anti-aliasing to edges.

I would suggest not using [Repeated inverted] rather use [Repeating file] and try to have all images facing same way.
