Default Re: Adjusting fills in 3D extrusions?

It just occured to me that if the 3D tool allows you to change the fill angle after you exit the 3D mode, then why doesn't it allow you to alter the angle while still in 3D?

If the argument is that it can only do it in vector mode (which doesn't make sense anyway) then why can't it 'secretly' jump out of 3D mode and back again a millisecond later to show the altered angle of the fill?

I hope this makes sense as the current method seems senseless unless you need a more accuracy (as a full face on view shows more detail).

In 3D there is no fill, only one bitmap.

Xtreme version 4 is the first with the 3D Extrude Tool. Who knows how it will evolve in future versions.

This maybe so but it pretends to be 2 bitmaps; 1 extrusion, 2 face fill.

You can alter the colours of plasma fills etc. while still in 3D mode.

I spent a long time trying to alter the angle of my bitmap. Sometimes coming out of 3D is a better method but for this project it made my task more difficult.

I think that it would benefit many if we had a choice. The fill handles need not also be displayed in perspective.

I wonder if the extrude tool and bevel tool will be combined one day?
