Default An early attempt at Marilyn

This was done a few years ago. I find people very difficult. The photo I worked from was not of very good quality, so with my limited skill and imagination this is what resulted.

I truly admire Spearance's talent. He has inspired me to make another attempt. I'm thinking of doing Einstein because I did him before, but lost the file.

Portraits are always difficult to get right. I hope you post your new portrait Ron when you finish it. Marilyn looks pretty good.

Yes, she looks god. The only thing I’ve drawn of human nature is a hand which I think I posted in a thread that you started on some bells, I think, but a face- no I think I’m not brave enough. Looking forward to your Einstein drawing.

Marilyn is still looking good Ron. Your portrait leaves no doubt about who the image portrays.

I once draw a portrait of Yancy Butler that looked like Sigourney Weaver

She still looks good to me Ron... You still have her sitting in the sports car I hope. that was my favorite piece. Even better than Halle Berry. ( I was just watching her in X-Men)

Are you sure you've lost him Ron, it's all relative

    Looks nothing like Marilyn Manson.

Quite by accident, you seem to have a superb image of someone called Monroe!
