Thread: Book drawing

    Default Book drawing

    Hello!
I have a Xara sample drawing (the chef drawing in Clip arts/people) which I changed and added to it.
It's supposed to be a father and a son learning together.
The problem is- I want them to have a book on the table- but I don't know how to draw an opened book from that angle. Can somebody please help me?
Attached is the Xara drawing and the drawing in a picture format.
    Please help me.
    Thanks!
If you have any other comments/suggestions on the drawing- please tell me.

Unfortunately Talkgraphics is not a place to come to requesting free images, or any graphics/artwork to be produced for you.
We are here to help you learn to create images for yourself with friendly, useful guidance.

With that in mind, I would start with searching Google images for an Open Book

When you find something like you need, copy'n'paste it into Xtreme and then set about hand tracing it with the shape editor.
Once you have a vector shape, you can then adjust it to the perspective you need.

You will learn some valuable drawing and XaraXtreme skills along the way..

Here's something to point you in the right direction. Proportions are a bit out..

sledger- I didn't mean that you should prduce the book for me- I meant to ask for help on how to draw the book and if there are- tutorials.
    Thanks.

Books are fairly simple shapes - my easy example only has four different lines.

My apologies if I was too hasty.
Attaching your .xar file seemed to me to be in anticiptation that someone would complete the task for you.
