Bill, I think there's a mathematial theory that explains the phenomenon of time appearing to pass more quickly the older one gets, but when I was told it, I think my eyes must have glazed over and my mind wandered. I remember nothing about it now. (another sign of the aging process I suppose).![]()
Attached is a logo I'm in the middle of designing. The fern is just a blend of 2 curved lines. I was wondering if it were possible to prevent the black line that appears on the lower edges of the leaves upon extrusion. I created the blend to a curve which had no colour, and which I removed after converting to editable shapes prior to extruding.
Saludos,
Bob.

Very effective Bob. The black lines are not supposed to be there. Try removing the extrusion and reapplying it.

I worked out where I was going wrong. After converting the blend to editable shapes and ungrouping to remove the curve,
I regrouped but should have then converted line to shape, which did the trick.

I've been wanting to find an easy way of making a wavy flag for a long time, I may even animate it.

You're not aloneHowever it started to slow down a little recently... rest of the year may be slower.
Nice. How "easy" is it to create this effect?
As usual I don't have any completed drawings to show, just a few quick portraits (well just faces, not portraits.

Compared to doing it with gradient fills etc, very easy

Ron I like your ram. I think it would still look good without the flag. The movements are very apt.![]()
