    Default Gaudi's El Capricho

Having seen the recent thread on moulding bitmaps,
I got the idea to do this. I have admired the work of the
inspired Catalan architect Antoni Gaudi for many years,
and have visited many of his structures mainly in the
north of Spain, Barcelona and also Mallorca.
The statue sits in the grounds of El Capricho, and I
thought that the idea bubbles emanating from his
head were appropriate. Comillas is a very pleasant
town situated near the north coast, and well worth a
visit if you are ever in the area. He is remembered primarily
for La Sagrada Familia the yet-to-be-completed project
    still ongoing in Barcelona.
Here’s a link to some more pictures of El Capricho, the
site is in russian, but there are some shots that show the
amazing detail that was evident in all his work.

That's should be 'never-to-be-completed' project ... the whole point of that church and it's project is that is a mirror of man everylasting struggle to come closer to god. Prefer Normal Foster myself.

Who can say how it will end up? There's an underpass planned to be routed beneath the cathedral, so the whole thing may end up as rubble.
    saludos,
    Bob.

I'm not saying that at all ... I'm saying it was part of the plans by Gaudi that it would never be finished - it was part of his 'grand' vision.
