    That is interesting Steve.

Version 3.2 has no Blank Photo (document) type of course and crashes quite totally when trying to export

further - xtreme 2 imports the the jpg at 601 dpi/ppi- whereas xtreme pro 4 imports it at 96

if I import the jpg into xtreme 4, 'shrink it ' down to 600dpi and export as png, no memory crash

looks like it is a 'size issue of some sort... - like xtreme 2 is working within a 'toolbar pix size limit' of 3175 pix

    EDIT: add the sshot

Is it not a video card problem that causes the crash? That to me is why some can and others can't it is asking a lot for the integrated card to render.
    Design is thinking made visual.

Yeah, the problem is not with Xtreme, but rather with Xara Photo Editor (which I was planning to use to crop it a bit).

The panorama is actually 20547x2048, photos taken by a Canon EOS Digital Rebel XT.
I know. I took the pictures, and stitched them

Could have easily been stitched by Xtreme or Panorama Studio. The EXIF only shows that some editing and saving was done using PICASA.
    I actually used Autostitch.

In my case, it is not an integrated card.
