    Hello SteveJ,

Thank you very much for your information which saved me hours of frustration. I could not see why I kept having error messages. I started this Xtreme4 three or four days ago so the learning curve is just now beginning. I really love the creativeness of the experts of this program. I also see you guys are intelligent too. My text took SteveS couple of minutes and this is my third day working on this. Have a great day!

    Hello Keith,

I look at Steve's image and said wow. I wondered how he did it and kept looking for a tutorial in the help section but I did not any. If you see one please point me to it. Many thanks. Untill I know about this program as you guys, I'll be thrilled.

    Kim,

Without doing it for you you have to mask the extruded text with the foreground image. Does this help as an explanation ....... Your example is a little more complex, but the principle is exactly the same.

    Hi Bruce,

I appreciated your suggestion very much. I got the idea and what I could not do in Xtreme I brought to PhotoShop to finish. At least I got it done, finally!!! It's nothing like the one done by SteveS, but I like it much better
    than my regular 2D text.
Thank you again and now that I know it's not as simple as watching the movies, I'll take time to learn.

    Hi Keith,

I got the idea and was able to finish the text in my good old PhotoShop. It looked lousy but I used it in my video. I know how to cover up the flaws so it turned out pretty neat. It fit to my background image much better than the regular 2D text. Thank you very much and now I go to check out the Xtreme4 CDs ordered last week. They're already here today, a lot sooner than I thought.
