Swatches appear to be script files. A text file PSP uses to generate an affect. So, I would say no.

You could probably use the color palette files. You would have to see if you can save to a PAL extension. They may be editable as text files as well.

Maybe apply a swatch to a blank image and save the image for the xara fills gallery.

I have no Idea how Xara works but You could Open a new image say 100 by 100 pixels Create a rectangular selection of 10 by 10 and fill it with one of your colors then edit selections and move it to the right 10 pixels toggle off edit and fill with the next color and so on until you have the lot then save as png tiff or Jpeg . Then open in Xare when needed and sample from this image to get the colour you want.
I have some Skin tones and some hair colors from PSP 7 days that I use as and when needed

I'll look at this a little more. Xara will open a Jasc Pal. A PSP Palette file type is the same as a Jasic Pal except fot the extension. When you reduce the color of an mage, you can get a palette and save to MS Pal of PSP Palette extension. You might look at XPal since it can read MS PALs and Jasc Pal. You can then save to EPS and open the file in Xara. You will get the colors on the coolor line along with a vector drawing of the colors. The drawing seems to come in off page and you'll have to look for it. You can edit a Jasc PAL in Notepad, and you can write your own file. I think the triplicate data is in the swatch file.

hello..Tis Me Again! Magix Extreme Photo
Designer 7,I have managed to create WWII
Colors RGB & Apply Decals etc to Templates for
    Flight Sims using this Software.
Applying Colors & Fading In the Decals etc
Giving the Image Aged Effect with Drab Paint
Schemes,Excellent & finding this easier than
    PSP XI in many ways.
Unless I've overlooked something as Trial
& Error, can't Create Layers like within PSP
    With Photo Extreme Designer 7.
Looks like I'm going to have to Export File to
    Extreme 4.0 & Layer then back to P.D 7.
Designer 7 seems to be the Software I'll
Have to use for Now for applying 'Skin'
    To Templates.
    Brilliant Anyway..Regards

Not sure what Photo Designer 7 will do that Xara Xtreme 4 won't .... I thought they were close to the same.
