Mustard

The logo you posted is a bitmap, am I correct?

WMF files, I believe, can contain vector and bitmap information.

Xara 3D can only add 3D to vector objects. So even though you are able to export the bitmap in the Windows Metafile format (WMF) Xara is unable to use the file.

As the logo is fairly straightforward, I would recommend recreating it in Xara, then saving it as a Xara XAR file which you can also bring into Xara 3D 3 and 4.

    This help?

.. that is why all your getting is a rectangle.

Gary is correct, you must convert this to a vector drawing, by drawing it in Xara. You can then save the vector drawing as a .xar file or a .wmf and import it into Xara 3D. I will email you the two files.

    You will then get this...

I also should have mentioned that if you create a vector version of your logo, not to place a rectangle or other shape behind it as that is the shape that will be extruded and the other detail lost. But it looks as if you figured that out
