    Default Snow Tiger

I have to apologise to the Gallery viewers for the years that I have been visiting this forum I have tried to post something once every 2 months but since Christmas this is my first quiet period that I have had. Now you think after all that time I would have something special to show but that has not happened. What did happen is that I have had to use more pencil and pen in a new job and I thought well how about using this re-emerging skill again in Xara. Did this drawing and using Zeb's ideas on tracing plus a few of my own, (always feel that I am cheating when using the Tracing Tool) this is the outcome got lost a bit in the non tiger bits. Any crits. are always welcome

very nicely in style I think - the linework is very good, and the ridge of the back in keeping - thanks, you are right, we don't see enough, your work is very good

Are you sure it not happened? well i donīt agree.
The illustration is amazing. I donīt know how you got there but if you have drawn this from scratch without tracing over an image it surely is something special
One note regarding the shadows. I think they may look better if you donīt feather them, use the shape of the (crappy English warning!) ... "hand" as the base for the shadow and use the same dark blue (maybe a little darker) we see in the snow.

ahhh... and keep posting more please (yes, this is a crit!).

It is a great Tiger. This had a kind of a Japanese feel to it. Reminded me of a Japanese painting.
