This is options.ini - know nothing about such things but I'm wondering whether that 'k' should be there?

John you have not entered anything for the server to authenticate you by?
You need to put your login and password in the options.

It works fine when all information is correct and present.

(PS: options.ini is not a text file you can edit in notepad, it's a binary type)

At least this thread will be instructive in that way for others hopefully

Only because you (or whoever setup Thunderbird) entered the un/pw details etc in the setup when it was first installed.
You won't have to enter those details in SendPix .NET again either (unless you delete the options.ini)

Yeah, get that, but the revised files - options and address - are being saved on my desktop, not into the folder with the program. But I suspect that might have something to do with my having two desktops [using Manage Desk] and the path I used to save the SendPix folder. I'll investigate that.

Until I didn't make installer you can do following:

    1) Delete ALL sendpix.exe, options.ini and address.ini files
    2) Unpack "SendPix" folder in c:\Program Files\
    3) Run program from c:\Program Files\SendPix\ folder

all settings should appears in c:\Program Files\SendPix\

Did as you said, but ini files still saved to desktop. Not just being an awkward cuss you know, just reporting

PS covered password because of casual moochers ... can't be too careful

Ok. So, I should fix this. There are few ways.
    Will post update tomorrow.

    BTW,
    BIG thanks for testing.
