Norman started so many threads and kept them going far more than any moderator, cough! The one that I remember like Remi is the ships one and he embarrassed even me to post. It's Normans handle that got me going. There was a lovely subtle comedy show in the early 60's about three seamen and their travels around the West coast of Scotland and the skipper was Para Handy. Para Handy changed over the series with actors like Greggor Fischer. Roddy McMillan and my favourite Duncan McRae who played the skipper as a droll, stern Presbyterian person and this is him with the Vital Spark in the background. It is not a very good likeness as he was really craggy in looks I think I would need to take this drawing into PS to get it right.

This is for you Norman we are all rooting for you

It's amazing when you look at Norman's drive to learn and all that he has accomplished.

I think that if ever there was one person that personifies talkgraphics, it's Norman. It's even more amazing when you see his journey with Xara.

    Top man Norman!

Ahh Itīso easy to pick favorites. Thereīs a lot to choose from!
I like this one a lot. Partly because the style is so clean and fits perfectly with the car look:

Another great example is this Packard Bell. Great view angle and Normanīs traditional illustration style.

Hope everything is going well. We miss you.

    Wish you the best Norman.

I like Normans earlier works before he got into making all of those cars and planes and things.

hello..& WOW! Yup really like the
    Various effects especially the Metal
Silver Ghost, that's the effects I'm looking for
Aircraft Skins in Flight Sim using Xara!
    Like The Catalina Image.
Think You could apply this effect to a
    Template from Flight Sim?
Would look really good on a WWII
P-51D Mustang 'Bare Metal' Drooling at
    The thought.
Hats off to you guys definately!
    Regards
    David (Noobie to Xara)
Ps.(After Thought) within forum Is there a tutorial
For creating the silver effect? I'd be more than
Happy with Just the silver effect minus the Reflection
    And items reflected.

It teriffic to see so many responses to this. Please keep them coming.

I know how hard it can be sometimes searching through the forum finding favourite posts, so with the help of Risto (who supplied the vBulletin log of Normans attachments of the last few years) I was able to put together a gallery of his best Transport Related drawings making it easier to browse his vast collection.

Parahandy Picture Parade - A journey with Norman Spencer.

If you would like show one of your favourite drawings of Normans with your post, I think it would be more suitable to save a copy of the image you like to your hard drive and then attach it to your post here at TG. That way the image remains on the TG server rather than on Navhost where account bandwidth could become a problem.
