Question on saving layers intact

Hi,

I'd like to save a PSP 7 file with two layers intact in PSP format, then at a later date go back and erase part of layer 1. When I try this, I can erase the background, but the program won't let me erase layer 1.

Am I overlooking something simple?

Welcome to TalkGraphics.

Are you just trying to delete the layer or edit it? You should be able to do either one. Just make sure the layer you want to work on is selected. I have not not run into a situation where a layer cannot be deleted in either PSP8 or X2.
