Using Banner Ads in an existing Front Page Website

I have a website I have been using for 4-5 years; a family-Photo site. For each page in the site, I use Xara to create a jpeg graphic (800x100) for each page I plan to have. The graphic just contains the name/description of the page. I position these graphics on the main page and for each I right-click and get a menu that will create hyperlink so that a user need only clink the graphic of choice to go to the proper page. Works fine.

I thought I would start to use Webstyle4 to create the graphics. However, when I get them on the main page, I cannot assign hyperlink data. This may be because they are animated GIF. Any help out there? I use FrontPage 2003.
