Help with spinning logo please help!!

villaforever04. It would help if you posted your progress so far. You not really being very clear about where you're having difficulties.

For fitting text on a curve see THIS VIDEO TUTORIAL

To see how to make different parts spin in different directions download the attached x3d file.

Please note this animation is deliberately spoilt. As the rules state we do not create spinning logos etc. but try to assist members to create their own work.

I haven't got any progress I made the spinning logo which I've already attached i was really srtuggling with everything else right from make the text rotate in a true circle to getting both to appear in the same graphic

I have watched this a few times i can create the text circle but i don't know how to animate it and get it into xara 3d

The animation is not done in Xtreme. Import or simply copy and paste the circular text into Xara3D6. Use X3D's animation abilities.

Do you mean that you don't know how to do it or you would'nt know by looking at the .x3d file Ii attached?

Both. I don't know how to animate 2 objects independantly NOR would I get it just looking at the file.

h, the video's just about putting text on a curve.

You can import several shapes, one at a time into Xara3D by copying in XXP and then pasting into Xara3D.

Have the Cursor viewable on screen
Hit Enter after the pasting to create a carriage return.
Paste in the next shape and repeat.

On completion, with the cursor still on screen you can select individual shapes using the arrow and Shift key. Once selected it turns a darker colour.

Now you can apply a different colour, extrusion, bevel and animation to that shape. So each shape can have independent colours, bevels extrusion and with some limitations, animations.

EDIT: The text on the Screen Grab should read Lt not Rt
