    Default Creating news paper

Ok, my first question.... I want to create a jpg of an old news paper type ad.

Something that look like to come from the early 1900's.

Is the anyway to do this or a template someplace?

    Thanks

Your question is somewhat vague. Do you think you could be more specific?
Imagine you were asking a search engine like google...or even try google images for whatever it may be you want.

Design it in black & white, use some old style font like Windsor, find some old style clipart or wingdings. When you have a final design it will look too "sharp"... if you are using layers (which I recommend) then merge them into a new layer. Apply some Gaussian blur and then soften up the edges with Levels by changing the light and dark handles (I recommend a Level adjustment layer so you can experiment by trial and error without messing up the original design). Finish it all by adding a suitable texture (place the texture on a new layer and change the layer mode to either Multiply or Soft light, then adjust the opacity of the layer).
