Thread: Anti RedEye

    Default Anti RedEye

Xtreme4 still requires XPE for RedEye removal. (Note: Magix Photodesigner is slow & cumbersome and often crashes Xtreme when I try it's very poor redeye removal tool.)
If you have changed your bitmap editor to something other than XPE, then pressing the 'RedEye' tool in Photo Tools will open *that* new editor.
This may be fine, as your preferred editor may have a good redeye remover in anycase, however - there is a free redeye remover 'Photoshop Plugin' that works with Xtreme4 and somewhat faster than opening another large app just to remove redeye.
    Vicmans AntiRedEye.
It works with WindowsXP and Vista

I find it easier the old fashioned way

Ellipse Tool, Colour Editor, and Transparency Tool make an unbeatable combination.

I use the same technique. Adjusting the percentage of transparency helps to darken the pupil.
