Don't show this again

I continue to use my XXP 3.24 for an old project and I am getting a bit tired of the promotional upgrade message every time I start Xara.
There is no point in checking the "Don't show this message again" tick box at the bottom, because it keeps coming back.

I suspect it has something to do with user profiles;
- Xara installed under Administrator account,
- daily use under restricted user account.
Is there some entry in the registry that I should manipulate?

Or is it that Xara regularly issues minor changes to the promo, which renders it into a different and therefore new message?

The [x]DontShowEtc almost certainly needs to modify something inside an area where a restricted users don't have access rights.

So, when you first start Xara, instead of just dbl-clicking, try rt-clicking and choosing RunAsAdmin. That way, when you get the promo msg and check the box, and say Ok, Xara will have the requisite rights to actually store that info.
