    Default Cloning?

How do I clone or duplicate a selection?

These are two of the more commonly used functions of XaraXtreme which can be easilty found on the 'Edit' menu, on the right-click context menu (when object is selected) and, more importantly, in the Xara Xtreme Help menu.
(Look under 'Clone' - or type 'Clone' in the Search Tab field)

It pays to look a bit before asking, especially where the answers are so near and quick to find.

    Hope this helps

    Hi
Just go to Edit > Duplicate or Clone. Clone drops a copy directly on top of the original Duplicate puts a copy at a specified distance from the original which you set in the General Tab of the Options menu.
Alternatively you can left drag the object and hit the right mouse button to drop as many copies of an object as you require at various points on the page. This way is a little less precise, but it depends on your requirements.

    FI:
in xara a clone is made in the exact same position as the original
a duplicate is offset and you can define the amount of x and y axis offset in options

    and me third
