I use the default setting. I used to search through all the cool samples. But then I found that the default setting is best. You just need to swivel the text a bit and boom you get shine. It shines in two flavors too.
Also not just the shadow but everything done in Xara 3D is real time on the fly customizable. I have hereby corrected myself.
