    Default remove color from palette

    Corel X3 Win XP Pro... I can add colors to my palette but cannot figure out how to delete some of the unessary colors.

    Maybe this can help.

    Menu Bar, Tools>Palette Editor>Choose Palette>Choose Colour> Then edit, add or delete> save your changes when prompted.

    I've found it wise to make a copy of the default CMYK or RGB palette (open the palette in the palette editor, and "save as" under a different name.) Then one can add, change, & delete colors in the copy using the palette editor.

    I've done this and set "EKBs Palette.cpl" as my default palette - I don't use use the standard default palettes at all, except as a backup in case something Goes Wrong with my custom default palette. I've also made some custom palettes for special-purpose work, e.g. "EKBs dark elf skin" and "EKBs faded to 30 percent"

    Thank you both so much. The tools/edit palette worked just fine. I was there yesterday but did not notice the choice of palettes.

    I will copy this palette, what a good idea.
