Need Help!!!

Hey I'm new to talk graphics! I am just starting to learn how to use Adobe Photoshop (Cs2) Everything was going fine till i saved my first pic. now when ever i choose a color for a paint brush, gradient.. or what ever.. the color automaticly changes to gray .... please help!!

Hi - welcome to TG

sounds like your color mode has been changed to greyscale - check - if so reset it to RGB - not sure where this is in CS, but the help section will cover it

One possibility is that you have an adjustment layer or mask selected and not the main layer. If that was the case every colour selected would change to a shade of grey. Make sure that on the layers pallet the active layer is the main one or a new layer above it and not an adjustment layer.
Then again it could just be what Handdrawn said a greyscale image that needs changing back to RGB.
