Xara Menu Maker Runtime Error Now Fixed!

I Just received an email from Xara Support. Here's what it said:

This was due to an error on our server which has now been fixed, so the problem should no longer occur.

Glad i could help with what i could. I sent in 4 emails to customer support about this. Took them 2 weeks to fix it, but they did it!!!!!!! GOOD LUCK EVERYONE! Now you DO NOT have to disconnect the internet to use XMM. I have tried and it DOES work!

Well it was good for an hour....Now i get the error again

Working again now...this is exciting!
I'm sure those ole boys will be gettin on and get a final fix for it.

Testing on a Vista machine:
1. Open MenuMaker. You should see a popup saying you have the latest version.

2. Close MenuMaker.

3. Open MenuMaker. You will probably see the C++ Runtime error message. Click OK and the program will close.

4. Open MenuMaker. No popup message and no runtime error.

Repeat step 4 as often as needed. The error message should no longer pop up.

Why there is the one time repeat of the C++ error message may be due to some caché of DNS information.
