How would you go about getting sun on those peaks? Tried with colour transparency overlay but it still looks false (this is without any overlay btw). Also, do you think the balance would be better if the mountains were reversed? I like it this way round because the slope of the range and of the railing are angling in together ... if you get my drift

This one I posted some time ago but it's worth a repost... my colleague wanted a new photo for our web site, so I enhanced it a bit by combining four photos :-)

A try at blending elements of one photo with another, actually four photos.
Someone please tell me there is a way of locking the live effects once applied so that they don't have to keep re-applying every time you so much as nudge a segment of photograph a pixel or two.
This fairly simple little photo montage took ages as there are effects applied which were constantly renewing. A one hour play around with a few bits of image became half a days wait for the effects to re-apply and this is on a 4gig ram dual core thingy.
OK I've found, by actually looking, the lock effects command which makes life a lot easier.
Second image with optik verve film grain applied.

I don't know if this is a dead thread now but I was experimenting with putting an object behind glass for something so tried it out by putting a teddy bear behind a window from this photo.
