    Default Xtreme Photo Melding Challenge

This isn't anything particularly new, you've always been able to mess with photos using Xara Xtreme, now however, with Xtreme4 - we have a whole gaggle of new photo tools and LE to enhance and toy with photographs to produce new and interesting results.

Here's some examples of what I call 'Photo Melding'. Which is to Blend, Merge, weld, meld, mix, match and so on, two or more images.

The Challenge is to create a pretty convincing final image.

Go wild, pick from your own photos or from the Xara clipart gallery and show us your results.

Most of the techniques you'll need to use can be found via the XaraXone Workbook Index.
Cloning is described in Workbook 52

Oh yes, you MUST use XaraXtreme only for this Challenge.

Not sure if this fits in with the challenge.

Two of my photos stitched together with the Panorama Tool in XXP4. Mehdi Eraser to remove the overcast sky. Feathered shapes with Transparencies for clouds on a blue background to create a sky.

Hardly the same quality as the above, but showing how good a job the new stitching facility does handling snaps - except the railing on stitch 1 isn't aligned.

The bottom pic on the left was my effort about a year ago using cloning brush in Corel Painter IX ... note my awful attempt to "do something with the sky" !

Actually, probably a bit too small to see anything properly - didn't want to make upload image too wide

I'm actually considering a new challenge for the excellent XX4 Panorama tool
Meanwhile for this challenge, try to put together two or more totally seperate photos which look pretty convincing when melded.

John - how about putting a mountain scape in the far background?
