    Dear Norman:

I don't know what to say. It would give me great pleasure to continue seeing your work appear here--you've improved remarkably from the first drawings long ago. Doctors aren't God, and can't tell exactly what the future holds, as others have mentioned. I hope you continue to grace us with your presence long after their forecast.

I'm rambling. I really don't know what to say, so I'll close with "Do what you love, love what you do, and hold no regrets." But even that is trite, because you seem to be living up to that phrase.

Norman, I am very sorry to hear this. You are a wonderful man and have inspired all of us time and time again.
I will say what everyone else is thinking... we all love you as a friend and fellow artist, and are proud to know you (even if only through a forum)
There are no other words I can think of at this moment to express my feelings about this.

I second everyone's comments; I wish you well.

It has indeed been amazing to watch your skills develop over just a few months.

    Keep strong.

Norman, what need have you for stars? You are already one of the brightest stars in the talkgraphics firmament.
May I put in a request for a Triumph Herald? Back in the early 70s a work colleague had one, I thought it one of the coolest cars I'd ever been in. I lusted after the Triumph Stag, too and actually learned to drive in a Triumph 2000 PI, but I've always had a soft spot for the Herald.
Your work here has been a triumph too, it must be a source of great satisfaction to you looking back over the astonishing progress you've made
here. Time yet for plenty more, I'm sure.
    Fondest regards,
    Bob.

Norman, you were the first one to comment on my very first drawing here. Your warm reception encouraged me very much. You are a great inspiration to us all and your presence here is a great part of the warm atmosphere at TG. So five stars from me for your drawings and your personality

Can`t imagine this group without you Norman.
I hope the doctors are wrong, and luckily they sometimes
are. Here my compilation of stars for you, and you deserve
them because your cars have become mindblowingly good.

    Norman,

I've just seen the thread. I think that it matters what you think and how you feel and not what others tell you.
Do whatever you ever wanted to do. I admire your skill to learn new things (your cars drawing).

A person never dies as long as he has something to live for. A person without interest in life merely existing. As long as you enjoy what you do and always strive for more I believe that this is the true meaning of a person.

Doing things without regret and pass your good qualities to others.

I am sure we will enjoy your art longer than you think.

    Cheers!

I would like to thank you all personally for your kind remarks and support. I don't mind saying it but you have me in tears. But lets not get too maudlin. As for the various requests I will do what I can to meet them. Thank you all again.
