Hmm that could be what he ment.
But that just slows it down, doesn`t it?

If this is not what you ment and you wanted
that the AVI file would last longer, see the x3d files
that would produce a longer playing avi file.

(and otherwise copy the short avi a lot in videosoftware
on the timeline, I have done that to create a spinning logo
    in the corner.)

Changing the number of frames per second can either slow or speed the playback. Adding more frames to the cycle would increase the time to play back one complete cycle.

The default settings for animation are 40 frames per cycle and 15 frames per second. A complete cycle would play back in 2.667 seconds. Increasing to 80 frames per cycle at 15 frames per second would play back one cycle in 5.333 seconds. 120 frames per cycle at 15 frames per second would play back in 8 seconds (a champion bull ride in any rodeo ).

15 frames per second produces a smooth, flicker free animation to the average human eye.
