I find it easier to isolate black lines than color ones using the auto select/original luminance. My question is, if I do this and create a layer of this line art,is there a way to color this line art and retain it's original crispness?

    Thanks,

    Hi,

I think it was you who posted a similar question at TutorAlley Forums, to which I've responded with instructions.

    My post begins with....

I think you mean Select > Auto Select > Using: Image Luminance.

Original Luminance makes the selection from the current Pattern's luminance (or the designated Clone Source' luminance, if an image is designated as the Clone Source).

To read the rest, including a response to your other post about the "halo", log in at TutorAlley Forums since you're a member and read my comments.

(Unless everything that matches is misleading me.)
