I torally disagree, I just wanted to say that your explination of the features of the Picture Editor and your plans and hopes for it are really impressive.
I have mostly used bit map editors over the last 10 years... PicturePublisher, Micrographix, Corel PhotoPaint, Adobe PhotoShop. My first intro to Xara was with Xara3d several years ago, it just blew me away.. so intuitive, fast, and in real time. I now have v5 and the improvements are amazing. In February I got XaraX, and have not had time to learn how to use it, but when I saw the features in X1 I was amazed and immediately bought it, thanks for the intro price too. I especially the addition of the Picture Editor. Obviously it can't replace major editors, but it can do a lot of the most common tasks that I usually end up with several saved 15-25mb files in psd, tiff, or bmp format after doing them.
Just wanted to commend you on some amazing graphics software.
My ONE major request would be some universal imbedded thumb so that programs like ACDSee, compuPix, Thumbs+, etc., can easily view and catalog the Xara files. Your compatibility with WinXP is a great start, but it's not a great browser.
Thanks again for all the effort.
