    This is a follow on from a thread in Xara Gallery forum "First XaraX" Please see this section if your interested in the earlier postings.
    The method I used is given below. I did'nt use named colours, just the original 2 then got the extra colours from using the Hue & Saturation option in the edit brush dialogue

    The named colour info appears to be lost using this method. Each blade does remain as a vector however, no rasters in sight.

    As for Fur & Hair the impossible may take some time !
