This post is, for me "The One After 909". "What is he on about?" I hear
you ask. And well you might, it's the right band, but the wrong album
as far as the attachment is concerned. Rather than just using the
Magic Wand Tool in PSP to select the album title, I hand traced it in Xara.
I don't think the Warhol estate will be bothered about my fake cans
flooding the market. Although I hand traced a lot, you may notice
that the fonts for "Campbell's" and "Soup" are different. Why bother
hand tracing? To get the effect of the can on the left, which I couldn't
get with a bitmap image. Unless any of you know any better?
The idea of this challenge is to mate one object with another,
and to produce unique and amusing offspring.
It could be 2 movies, ie "Walk The Line" and "Wag The Dog"
might produce another movie: "Walk the Dog". Or "Saving Private Ryan" and
"Private Benjamin" to create "Saving Private Benjamin".
I'm sure you get the idea.
All you have to do is illustrate parts from both movies to create it.
it could be done in the way I've done my attached example, or it
could be using photo manipulation of the cd/dvd covers involved.
I must stress that this is not my original idea, but it is a reworking of
something that I fist saw on the worth1000.com website.

Books, albums, song titles or whatever you like to mate. You may create hybrids,
that is to say, mate a book with a movie, or an album with a movie, or even all three,
or even anything else that comes to mind. Use any graphic software you want.
Saludos,
Bob.
