A mask separation at the tree line, and then a Sketch effect. I replaced the sky with something more interesting. Then a gray to black object in saturation transparency.

This had a MFI2 layer as well. Version 2 has a random function, and can save presets. I found a preset that is very nice, and I saved it. I would image they are text files with the parameters.

Smart Mask can save the mask parameters, and Sketch can save presets. Sketch 6.5 gives a live view, and has a texture option.
